Information we collect

OwnTheOffer collects the information users provide to create and access accounts, submit vehicle listings, apply as dealers, verify dealer licenses, configure buying preferences, communicate through the platform, and obtain support. Depending on how you use the platform, this can include contact information; vehicle identification, condition, title, mileage, location, photos, and video; dealership, license, and application information; offers and related marketplace activity; and technical records needed to authenticate users, protect the service, and diagnose errors.

How we use information

We use information to operate OwnTheOffer, authenticate users, review listings and dealer applications, verify dealer eligibility, match eligible dealers with seller listings, support offers and transactions, provide customer support, protect the platform, and maintain records of user and administrative actions.

Seller contact information

A seller's name, phone number, email address, and precise location are not disclosed to dealers before the seller accepts an offer. After acceptance, the seller's contact information is released only to the accepted dealer for the purpose of completing the vehicle transaction.

Service providers

OwnTheOffer uses service providers to operate the platform. Supabase provides application data, authentication, and private file storage. Stripe processes dealer subscription payments. These providers process information as needed to deliver their services. OwnTheOffer does not store full payment-card numbers in its application database.

Sale of information

OwnTheOffer does not sell user personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Security and access

Access to seller contact information, dealer-license evidence, uploaded media, and administrative functions is restricted according to the user's role and the applicable marketplace state. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
